Sedation Dentistry

We understand that visiting the dentist can sometimes be a nerve-racking experience. We’ve sat in that chair, too. Therefore, to alleviate all pain and ensure our patients’ maximum comfort and relaxation during treatment, our practice offers oral sedation and IV sedation dentistry.

Sedation dentistry refers to the use of sedation during dental treatment. Sedation is most commonly used during extensive procedures, for patients with dental phobia or for patients who find it difficult to sit still. There are different types of sedation, including nitrous oxide, IV sedation, oral sedatives and general anesthetic.
